Overview

This project involved designing a website for Ishay Ribo, one of the most successful and beloved musicians in Israel. Known for his deep connection to faith and spirituality, Ishay’s music is filled with themes of hope and devotion. He is widely popular across Israel and has even performed at iconic venues like Madison Square Garden in New York. The challenge was to create a website that reflects both his religious identity and his appeal to a diverse audience, while providing a seamless digital experience.

The Process

The design process began with a thorough understanding of Ishay Ribo’s brand, his religious identity, and the spiritual nature of his music. I applied a user-centered design approach, beginning with user and competitive research, followed by persona development. From there, I created wireframes and prototypes, refining the design through user feedback. The website was built with a focus on accessibility, ensuring it resonated with his diverse fanbase.

The Problem

Ishay Ribo needed a website that could serve as a digital home for his fans, many of whom share his religious beliefs and find personal meaning in his music. His previous site lacked an emotional connection and didn’t adequately communicate the spiritual depth of his work. It also needed better functionality for concert ticket sales, merchandise, and event updates.

The Value

The new website provides fans with a serene, immersive experience, allowing them to engage with Ishay Ribo’s music and message of faith. It helps bridge the gap between artist and audience, offering easy access to content, tour information, and exclusive merchandise. The website aligns with his values, strengthening the bond with his religious fanbase while being welcoming to all.

The Goal

The goal was to design a visually appealing, user-friendly website that mirrors Ishay Ribo’s religious identity and the themes of hope and faith in his music. The site needed to be easy to navigate, mobile-responsive, and functional, serving as a platform for concert updates, merchandise, and direct fan interaction.

User Research

I conducted interviews with listeners who connect with Ishay Ribo’s message of faith. Many fans expressed a desire for a website that not only showcases his music but also offers insights into his beliefs and creative process. This research highlighted the importance of a design that is reflective of both his music and his spirituality.

Persona

I developed personas to better understand the target audience. One persona, "Sara," is a 38 year old religious music lover who appreciates the spiritual depth of Ishay Ribo’s songs.

The Solution

The final design is a minimalist, peaceful website with a soft, calming color palette, reflecting the spiritual nature of Ishay Ribo’s music. The homepage prominently features his latest albums, tour dates, and a section dedicated to his religious message, offering fans a deeper connection to his faith and music. The navigation is intuitive, with a focus on ease of use across all devices, ensuring that fans can effortlessly engage with his content, whether they're exploring concert dates or purchasing merchandise.

Look & Feel

The website’s design focuses on creating a calming and inviting atmosphere that reflects Ishay Ribo’s soulful music. A soft, neutral color palette of warm beige, light grays, and muted blues was chosen to ensure the site feels harmonious and easy on the eyes. These soothing tones provide a clean backdrop, allowing the content—such as music, tour dates, and merchandise—to stand out without overwhelming the user.



Typography is clean and legible, enhancing readability across devices. The layout is minimalist, with plenty of white space to create a sense of openness, making navigation intuitive and user-friendly. The goal was to ensure a seamless and relaxing browsing experience that keeps the user engaged while maintaining comfort and ease.
